FRANK LICARI - Founder/Performer/Director
Frank has been a professional actor for over 18 years and has a Certificate in Theater from The American Musical & Dramatic Academy in New York. He was a member of the Obie and Drama Desk award winning show “Blue Man Group” for over 21/2 years. He has performed in over 55 Stage Plays in New York, Boston, Chicago, Toronto and Florida. His TV Credits include “Law & Order”, and CBS’s short-lived “Dellaventura” starring Danny Aiello. His film work has been featured at the NY, LA, Breckenridge, Brooklyn and Milan International Film Festivals. His last film “The Fallen - Letters From The Dead” is available through Hollywood Video and Netflix. Frank has done commercial, voice-over and industrial work for companies such as Staples, Fleet Bank, GNC, Prodigy, Duffy's, RJ Gators and The Big Brother Assoc. Frank is also an award winning director and playwright and has won The Sears Drama Festival and Village Gate One-Act Festival (NYC). He is the owner/founder/artistic director of Atlantic Arts Academy and The Atlantic Theater in Jupiter, Florida for the past 8 years. Frank is also an accomplished singer and musician, playing piano, bass guitar, guitar and percussion. Some of his work has been featured on WFNX Radio, Boston’s #1 alternative radio station. Frank has toured upstate New York and Ontario Canada with his music and has performed at Fleet Center in Boston and most recently at Sunfest 2005 & 2006 with The Jeff Harding Band.  Frank has been a SAG member for 13 Years.
TRAVIS THOMAS - Founder/Performer/Director (On Hiatus)
Travis has been an Acting Instructor for the Atlantic Arts Academy for the past 4 years. He spent the previous 5 years in Boston where he performed for the nationally acclaimed “Improv Asylum”. He is a member of the first ever graduating class of the Improv Asylum Training Center, and performed with the Improv Asylum Touring Company and then with both the Improv Asylum NET cast and finally with the Improv Asylum Main Stage Cast. He performed hundreds of shows with the Asylum and served as an instructor in the Training Center assisting in Corporate Training workshops. Travis is also the former Community Supervisor for the website where he hosted and moderated hundreds of online events as well as hosting numerous live video Web Casts. Most recently he hosted the World Blu Forum on organizational democracy in Washington, D.C. Travis is the proud father of three beautiful children, Trinity, Holland and Shepherd and is also a world renowned lover to his wife Hollister. JESSE FURMAN - Founder/Performer/Director
Jesse Furman has been an Acting Instructor with Atlantic Arts Academy for the past 6 years. His acting credits include: 6 years with The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival, the Spotlite Players, and 5 years with Northstage.

Over the last 4 years he has had the privilege to assistant direct and perform with The Atlantic Theater, appearing in Misery as Paul Sheldon, A Christmas Carol as Jacob Marley and as Huey in Italian American Reconciliation. His film credits include roles as Frank Drevin in Scary Tales 2, and as Prowler in Christian Soldiers. Jesse lives happily at home with his wife Jen and a farm’s worth of animals.

 

LAUREN POTTINGER - Performer
Lauren has been acting in the Palm Beach area since the ripe old age of 14. She toured through Europe and Canada with the performance group Up With People upon graduating high school, then returned to Florida to attend the University of Central Florida, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre. While in Orlando, she worked with numerous improv troupes including iPlay at UCF, Six Degrees Improv, and Standprov and also attended classes at Sak Comedy Lab. Upon graduation, she worked in Cincinnati, OH for 3 years at a sketch comedy and rock and roll club called Shadowbox Cabaret where she not only helped in day to day business operations, but was a featured singer and sketch comedian. Lauren has done commercial and industrial work with Duffy's Sports Grill and Labor Finders, and is writing a graphic novel. Her favorite roles have been Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, Nanny in Baby with the Bathwater, and Kathy in Vanities, not to mention several roles in the last two years productions of A Christmas Carol at the Atlantic Theater.   She joined The Jove in June of 2007.
